Abstract

La référence à l'Antiquité (en tant que métaphore de certaines valeurs politiques et morales et de certains principes esthétiques) a accompagné l'élaboration et l'évolution de l'écriture de Beethoven et lui a permis de soutenir une conception nouvelle de la musique. La fonction de cette référence qui est primordiale dans l'oeuvre de Beethoven, fait l'objet de cette étude.
