Abstract

Resumo: O artigo visa tratar de forma breve algumas questões acerca da noção de história no pensamento de Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Pretende-se verificar nos escritos do autor qual o seu posicionamento no que diz respeito ao sentido da história, qual a relação entre história e sociabilidade e como estas se relacionam e interferem com a noção de "homem natural" ou com as qualidades ontológicas do homem. Além disso, buscar-se-á também destacar algumas das influências percebidas na obra do autor acerca da história, principalmente o que Rousseau escreve sobre a importância do estudo da mesma tendo-se em vista a formação moral dos jovens.Palavras-chave: Rousseau - homem natural - história.: This paper briefly addresses some questions concerning the notion of history in the writings of Jean-Jacques Rousseau. It aims at verifying which is the position about the author assumes about the meaning of history, the way he conceives the relation between history and sociability, as well as the way they interfere in the notion of "natural man", or in the ontological qualities of men. Moreover, it is aims at outlining some influences from history in Rousseau's works, mainly in his writings about the importance of the study of history during the moral formation of young people.Key-words: Rousseau - natural man - history
