An improved cognitive model of the Iowa and Soochow Gambling Tasks with regard to model fitting performance and tests of parameter consistency.Junyi Dai, Rebecca Kerestes, Daniel J. Upton, Jerome R. Busemeyer & Julie C. Stout - 2015 - Frontiers in Psychology 6:126715.
The Iowa Gambling Task (IGT) and the Soochow Gambling Task (SGT) are two experience-based risky decision-making tasks for examining decision-making deficits in clinical populations. Professor Stout's realism: A criticism: Professor Stout's realism.J. E. Turner - 1932 - Philosophy 7 (28):446-453.
Among the many outstanding features of Professor Stout's Gifford Lectures, Mind and Matter , there are two which possess special interest to readers of Philosophy : the author”s exposition of a more definite Realism than has been presented in his earlier works, and a renewed defence of the much-maligned faculty, Common Sense, here regarded as “a social product maintained and transmitted from generation to generation through the co-operation and conflict of many minds in thinking and willing ”.
