Монографія об‘єднала зусилля науковців факультету міжнародної економіки Дніпропетровського національного університету імені Олеся Гончара та учасників Міжнародної науково-практичної конференції «Стратегії економічного розвитку країн в умовах глобалізації» у процесі пошуку й визначення стратегічних орієнтирів економічного розвитку України в глобальному середовищі й обрання своєї вірної дороги. На відміну від Ван Гога, усі дороги якого ведуть у нікуди, ми віримо, що спроможні обрати ту саму – нашу дорогу у світле й заможне майбутнє, й усі наші зусилля не будуть марними.

Stress is a health problem that affects today's society, it is reflected in the degree of reaction to events or academic situations faced by the university student. The level of academic stress was analyzed according to sociodemographic factors in university students in a period of confinement due to COVID-19. 525 randomly chosen students from private and licensed universities in the city of Arequipa participated, an instrument was used to assess academic stress consisting of 21 items that measure stressors, symptoms, and (...) coping strategies. The results show that students have a moderate academic stress level with a tendency to be severe, it´s caused by the overload of academic work, the form of evaluation, and the type of work that teachers ask for, thus affecting their health due to the presence of somatic symptoms that affect students at the biopsychosocial level. The volume contains important additions and corrections to Morey & Brooke's edition of Foliot's correspondence and updates our understanding of the man (...) and his acta in the light of the latest scholarship. The present study aimed to integrate findings from technology acceptance research with research on applicant reactions to new technology for the emerging selection procedure of asynchronous video interviewing. One hundred six volunteers experienced asynchronous video interviewing and filled out several questionnaires including one on the applicants’ personalities. In line with previous technology acceptance research, the data revealed that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use predicted attitudes toward asynchronous video interviewing. Furthermore, openness revealed to moderate the relation between perceived usefulness (...) and attitudes toward this particular selection technology. No significant effects revealed for computer self-efficacy, job interview self-efficacy, extraversion, neuroticism, and conscientiousness. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed. La historia de la Modernidad puede relatarse como una generalización de situaciones de peligro; desde mediados del siglo xx, abarca a toda la sociedad. Este artículo se dedica a dos campos en los que se aplica el concepto de supervivencia (...) y que son a su vez constitutivos de este proceso totalizador, a saber, los discursos sobre la guerra nuclear y sobre la ecología. En ambos la supervivencia juega un papel central a la hora de reflexionar y politizar históricamente los nuevos peligros que resultan del desarrollo de las nuevas tecnologías y de las consecuencias derivadas del crecimiento de la economía capitalista.: The concept of survival functions as a guiding probe in the history of emotions. The history of modernity can be recounted as a generalization of situations of danger; since the middle of the 20th century, it has encompassed the whole of society. This article is devoted to two fields in which the concept of survival is applied and which are themselves constitutive of this totalizing process, namely the discourses on nuclear war and on ecology. In both, survival plays a central role in the historical reflection and politicization of the new dangers resulting from the development of new technologies and the consequences of the growth of the capitalist economy. This transformation has come at a cost. I argue that in the wake of its systematization the concept of the real experiment has lost the ability to engage with certain types of problems. Given this detrimental shift, it becomes all the more important to rediscover the term’s older layers of meaning and (...) how they might be useful in confronting current experiences of how history tends towards autonomization. This article is intended to contribute to the discussion of the topicality and historical and theoretical limitations of Koselleck’s theory. The concept of acceleration, which has a special meaning for Koselleck, both in terms of conceptual history and social theory, will serve as a guide to this investigation. Since it is a socio- and temporal-analytical concept, the current thesis, that we have entered a post-Koselleckian culture, should be amenable to testing on the basis of this concept, which this article will (...) consider in some detail. The examination is divided into three parts: The first part addresses the concept of acceleration and its implications for Koselleck. On the basis of the results of the first part, the second part discusses issues and problems that go beyond Koselleck’s approach, and/or show it’s theoretical or methodological limits. Finally, the third part summarizes the conclusions of the foregoing examination, and emphasizes the problem-historical continuity with Koselleck’s inquiry into a socio-historically informed history of concepts. The article undertakes a reconstruction of the historical changes in the understanding of the term »projection«. The analysis begins with a consideration of the current discussion about the problem why the term was suddenly employed as a category of religious criticism in the middle of the 19th century. The article makes clear, that the existing literature has not satisfactory clarified the problem. Afterwards, by means of a reconstruction of the historical development of the term »projection«, the author undertakes to elucidate (...) the question, seeking to lay a new foundation for the discussion. The article concludes that the radical changes in the understanding of the term »projection« only can be understood properly in the light of the drastic historical changes in cultural perception and media. Bislang wurde Walter Benjamins Werk nicht auf Staatlichkeit hin gelesen, weist es doch weder eine Staatstheorie noch deren explizite Kritik auf. Der Staat als genuin politische Kategorie wird zwar kaum direkt, dafur aber uber andere Begriffe adressiert, wie Souveranitat und Gewalt, Produktionsverhaltnisse und Warenform oder soziale Kollektive wie Klasse und 'Volk'. Mit Problemen moderner Staatlichkeit beschaftigte sich Benjamin zeitlebens uber die kulturelle Sphare, und sein politisches Denken motivierte sich wesentlich aus Beobachtungen an Alltagsdingen und Konsumgutern sowie der Auseinandersetzung mit neuen (...) kunstlerischen Verfahren und Technologien. Der Band stellt diesen mittelbaren Zugriff heraus und versucht aufzuzeigen, welche Problemfelder von Benjamins politischem Denken je schon auf die Phanomene Staat und Staatlichkeit verweisen, ohne dass diese direkt angesprochen und ausgefuhrt wurden.
