    Event-Triggered Consensus Control for Leader-Following Multiagent Systems Using Output Feedback.Yang Liu & Xiaohui Hou - 2018 - Complexity 2018:1-9.
The event-triggered consensus control for leader-following multiagent systems subjected to external disturbances is investigated, by using the output feedback. In particular, a novel distributed event-triggered protocol is proposed by adopting dynamic observers to estimate the internal state information based on the measurable output signal. It is shown that under the developed observer-based event-triggered protocol, multiple agents will reach consensus with the desired disturbance attenuation ability and meanwhile exhibit no Zeno behaviors. Finally, a simulation is presented to verify the obtained results.

From Mao to the Market.Xiaoshuo Hou - 2011 - Theory, Culture and Society 28 (2):46-68.
China is undergoing tremendous social and economic transformations with different local innovations and variations. By comparing and contrasting three industrial villages in China demonstrating different mixes along the organizational continuum from market economy to collectivist economy, this article offers an alternative model of development that combines market production and distribution with redistribution and the building of public goods based on group boundaries. This alternative market activity is named community capitalism, a concept that has the potential to mitigate the sharp dichotomy (...)

Diagnostic accuracy of multi-component spatial-temporal gait parameters in older adults with amnestic mild cognitive impairment.Shuyun Huang, Xiaobing Hou, Yajing Liu, Pan Shang, Jiali Luo, Zeping Lv, Weiping Zhang, Biqing Lin, Qiulan Huang, Shuai Tao, Yukai Wang, Chengguo Zhang, Lushi Chen, Suyue Pan & Haiqun Xie - 2022 - Frontiers in Human Neuroscience 16:911607.
ObjectiveThis study aimed to develop a diagnostic model of multi-kinematic parameters for patients with amnestic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI).MethodIn this cross-sectional study, 94 older adults were included (33 cognitively normal, CN; and 61 aMCI). We conducted neuropsychological battery tests, such as global cognition and cognitive domains, and collected gait parameters by an inertial-sensor gait analysis system. Multivariable regression models were used to identify the potential diagnostic variables for aMCI. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were applied to assess the diagnostic accuracy (...)

Athlete students lead a healthier life than their non-athlete peers: A cross-sectional study of health behaviors, depression, and perceived health status among university students.Huixuan Zhou, Yufei Zhang, Xueyan Han, Xiaotong Dai, Litian Lou, Xiao Hou, Chan Zhou, Zeting Liu & Wei Zhang - 2022 - Frontiers in Psychology 13.
Some studies show that athlete students are more likely to engage in health-risk behaviors with negative health consequences, while others suggest that they lead a healthier life than their non-athlete peers. Given these inconsistent results, this study aims to compare health behaviors, depression, and perceived health status between athlete and non-athlete students, and explore the associations between health behaviors and health outcomes. An online questionnaire survey including Heath Habits Scale for five health-risk behaviors and five health-promoting behaviors, Patient Health Questionnaire-9, (...)
