  2. Research on Designing an Industrial Product-Service System with Uncertain Customer Demands.Fei Zhang, Liecheng Jia & Weizhen Han - 2021 - Complexity 2021:1-20.
The industrial product-service system is a kind of system engineering methodology, integration scheme, and business model to realize service value by adding intangible services in the whole life cycle. However, the design of the system involves many difficulties such as uncertain customer demands, strong subjectivity of the experience design, and long debugging times. Methods for solving upper problems are therefore essential. This paper presents a design model that integrates an improved affinity propagation clustering algorithm, quality function development, and axiomatic design. (...)

Effects of Ownership Expressed by the First-Person Possessive Pronoun.Zhan Shi, Aibao Zhou, Wei Han & Peiru Liu - 2011 - Consciousness and Cognition 20 (3):951-955.
The present study examined the behavioral effects of the first-person possessive pronoun. In each trial, a noun was presented to participants after visual presentation of a possessive pronoun “wo de” or “ta de” , which formed ownership. Half participants were assigned to contextual encoding condition in which they were required to judge whether they liked the item expressed by a noun from the first or third-person perspective. The rest were assigned to perceptual encoding condition in which they were asked to (...)

  6. The Effects of the Solution-Focused Model on Anxiety and Postpartum Depression in Nulliparous Pregnant Women.Cuiqin Huang, Wei Han & Sanlian Hu - 2022 - Frontiers in Psychology 13.
BackgroundSolution-focused model is an intervention method that fully mobilizes patients’ initiative through their potential. We aimed to investigate the effects of SFM on anxiety and postpartum depression in nulliparous pregnant women compared with routine care services.MethodsWe chose the mothers diagnosed as depressed or with depressive tendency by Edinburgh Postpartum Depression Scale at 28 weeks of gestation and divided them into the intervention and control groups. The control group only took the routine pregnancy healthy nursing, while the SFM group took the (...)

A Refinement of the Uncovered Set in Tournaments.Weibin Han & Adrian Van Deemen - 2019 - Theory and Decision 86 (1):107-121.
We introduce a new solution for tournaments called the unsurpassed set. This solution lies between the uncovered set and the Copeland winner set. We show that this solution is more decisive than the uncovered set in discriminating among alternatives, and avoids a deficiency of the Copeland winner set. Moreover, the unsurpassed set is more sensitive than the uncovered set but less sensitive than the Copeland winner set to the reinforcement of the chosen alternatives. Besides, it turns out that this solution (...)

Seismic Prediction of Soil Distribution for the Chang-Bin Offshore Wind Farm in the Taiwan Strait.Wei-Chung Han, Yi-Wei Lu & Sheng-Chung Lo - 2020 - Interpretation 8 (4):T727-T737.
Direct soil measurements are limited to borehole locations and are therefore sparse in the oceans. To effectively characterize the soil distributions for the Chang-Bin offshore wind farm, which is an area with the greatest wind energy potential in the Taiwan Strait, we have developed a workflow to predict the soil distribution in the subsurface based on integrated analysis of seismic data and borehole data. First, we characterize the key seismic units and their seismic response in order to understand the regional (...)

Self-Reference Effect Induced by Self-Cues Presented During Retrieval.Liguo He, Wei Han & Zhan Shi - 2021 - Frontiers in Psychology 12.
The self-reference effect refers to better memory for self-relevant than for other-relevant information. Generally, the SRE is found in conditions in which links between the stimuli and the self are forged in the encoding phase. To investigate the possibility that such conditions are not prerequisites for the SRE, this research developed two conditions by using two recognition tasks involving abstract geometric shapes. One was the cue-in-encoding condition in which self- and other-cues were presented to construct links with AGSs during the (...)
