„Latający Holender” białoruskiej poezji: zbiór Nea-lit jako zjawisko literackie.Viacheslav Levytskyi - 2022 - Acta Universitatis Lodziensis. Folia Litteraria Polonica 64 (1):649-666.
W końcu _Nea-lit_ został platformą do poszukiwania (...)

The only university department of religious studies.Vladyslav Suyarko - 1998 - Ukrainian Religious Studies 8:70-73.
The department was established in 1959 in difficult times, when in the Soviet society dominated a materialistic, atheistic outlook, and other philosophical-idealistic and religious-mystical views were persecuted. Until the 1990s, it existed under the title "The History and Theory of Atheism". Not long kept her second name - "Histories and Theories of Religion and Atheism". Finally, the permanent name "Department of Religious Studies" is legitimized, which corresponds most to the modern development of Ukrainian society, in which there is a rapid (...)

The author attempts to specify the meaning of the central ontological and metaphysical concepts 'social existence', 'social reality' and 'life world'. He looks into such issues as 'How does social existence arise?', 'What legitimates social reality?', 'How are general intersubjective senses of such reality formed?' and eventually 'Who is responsible for social existence (and probably existence in general)?' From a retrospective journey into the history and theoretical explications the author endeavors to look for the empiristic content of these concepts, which (...)

In the article we can read about the interpretation of Hegel’s philosophical system in the philosophy of the XXth century. Author states that modern social reality can be considered as a consequence of philosophical reflection concerning questions, which were self-evident in pre-Modern times and didn’t need any reflection. At the same time examples of modern reflection became a canon that needed its own interpretation. Considering this fact, it has been show how relations between subject and object were comprehended in different (...)

Fraïssé Limits of C*-Algebras.Christopher J. Eagle, Ilijas Farah, Bradd Hart, Boris Kadets, Vladyslav Kalashnyk & Martino Lupini - 2016 - Journal of Symbolic Logic 81 (2):755-773.
We realize the Jiang-Su algebra, all UHF algebras, and the hyperfinite II1factor as Fraïssé limits of suitable classes of structures. Moreover by means of Fraïssé theory we provide new examples of AF algebras with strong homogeneity properties. As a consequence of our analysis we deduce Ramsey-theoretic results about the class of full-matrix algebras.

    The Problem of Infinity in Kyiv-Mohylian Philosophical Courses : A Preliminary Study.Mykola Symchych - 2018 - Sententiae 37 (2):6-19.
The article analyses the explication of the infinity in the philosophical courses taught at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy at the 17th and 18th centuries. It examines 12 philosophical courses – since 1645 (the course by Inokentii Gizel) until 1751 (the course by Georgii Konyskyi). It shows how the infinity was defined and in which kinds it was divided in different courses. In general, all the professors, as well as other scholastic philosophers, agree that categorematic infinity exists only in God, but syncategorematic is (...)

Phenomenology Studies at the Beginning of the 20Th Century: Polish and Ukrainian Soviet Contexts (to the 100Th Anniversary of the Publication of the Series of Articles by V. Yurynets “Edmund Husserl” (1922-1923). [REVIEW]Vlada Davidenko - 2023 - Filosofska Dumka (Philosophical Thought) 3:130-149.
The article presents a comparison of the interpretations of Edmund Husserl’s early philosophy, created in different local contexts: ones by Polish researchers (Kazimir Tvardovsky, Jan Luka sevich, Vladyslav Tatarkevych, Roman Ingarden, Aleksander Rozenblum-Augustowski) in the period 1895-1945, and Ukrainian philosopher Volodymyr Yurynets. This comparison takes place against the background of considering the differences in the conditions of the development of philosophy in pre-war and interwar Poland and the USSR. The author demonstrates the similarity of the readings of Husserl’s phenomenology (...)
