This text examines some parallels between Walter Benjamin’s “critique of violence” and the theory of violence proposed by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari. Whatever the differences between these two approaches, they both share an important common feature, defining the violence of state and law in terms of a “violence which presupposes itself”. This circular structure of the concept of violence renders utterly problematic the attempts to envisage a wholly other, revolutionary form of violence, which could be opposed to that of (...)

Autour des conférences de Nietzsche «Sur l’avenir de nos établissements d’enseignement».Arnaud Francois, Vladimir Milisavljevic, Cristiana Asavoaie, Anna Bonalume & Jose A. Errazuriz - 2015 - Meta: Research in Hermeneutics, Phenomenology, and Practical Philosophy 7 (2):252-272.
The text focuses on reflecting on the role of modern university in a man intellectual development, starting from Nietzsche’s ideas. By drawing up some of the main methodological and philosophical concepts of the German philosopher, the text highlights a series of aspects on the Humboldian nature of current universities – a state of tension under the political, economic and social factors. Thus, the classic concepts of Bildung and Kultur specific to the XIX-century University are analyzed in relation with the crisis (...)

    Istorija i pravda u Hobzovoj perspektivi.Vladimir Milisavljevic & Aleksandar Dobrijevic - 2007 - Filozofija I Društvo 18 (3):69-86.

'Spirit' and 'Letter' of the moral law: Text and commentary in the hermeneutics of German idealism II.Vladimir Milisavljevic - 2010 - Filozofija I Društvo 21 (1):149-165.
Krajnja konsekvenca ovog pravca kritike Kanta lezi u ukidanju (...)

The 'spirit' and the 'letter' of the moral law: Text and commentary in the hermeneutics of German idealism, I.Vladimir Milisavljevic - 2009 - Filozofija I Društvo 20 (3):143-157.
The purpose of this paper is to shed light on different aspects of the hermeneutical problem in post-Kantian philosophical 'constellation'. In this domain, the problem of the relationship between the text and its commentary is theorized in terms of the antithesis between 'Spirit' and 'Letter', which clearly has religious roots. Therefore, the first part of the paper examines the historical origins of this antithesis, as well as its application in philosophical discussions which developed by the end of the 18th century (...)
