This paper is an attempt to assess the scientific achievements of the recently deceased Edmund Wnuk-Lipiński – an eminent Polish sociologist of international repute – from the perspective of political culture. There is significant evidence to suggest that political culture was present in Professor Wnuk-Lipiński’s scholarly oeuvre in a considerably broader sense than in classic political science literature.
