One of the most important elements of the spiritual culture of a society that actively influences the lives of many peoples living in Ukraine is religion. The analysis of the status of various religious communities in the legal field of the Crimean ASSR, their interaction with the central and local bodies of Soviet power gives an opportunity to thoroughly study the mechanism of suppression of religion, the formation of completely different forms of worldview and value system. The Bells of Sevastopol: On Nietzsche's First Musical Composition. This article offers an interpretation and new dating of Nietzsche’s early musical compositions. These documents – harmony exercises and small compositions – are crucial for understanding the beginning of Nietzsche’s study of music. Of these musical scores, the most interesting is the so-called “melody fragment.” This short “melody” is not simply an adolescent’s attempt to write music; it is instead an interesting document on the intellectual activity of the young Nietzsche (...) during the years of the Crimean War. A comparison of some notebooks of the period reveals similarities that allow us a precise dating. Moreover, this “melody” suggestively recalls the death knell after “the fall of Sevastopol.”. Sevastopol Religious Studies has its own tradition. It was initiated here by Associate Professor I.I.Fursin from the day of organization of the instrument-making institute in the city.

The Ukrainian Association of Religious Studies is a non-partisan, secular, non-governmental organization that unites voluntary scholars, religious scholars, theologians, and teachers of religious studies in educational institutions of Ukraine. Established in March 1993 and registered by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in July of that year. UAR has its organizations in 18 oblasts of Ukraine, as well as in the cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol. Membership in the Association is individual and collective.

A "round table" on the theme "The Dialectics of the Social and the Biological: Problems and Conceptions " was held in 1985 in Sevastopol ' under the auspices of the local section of the Philosophical Society of the USSR. The topic of the relationship between the social and the biological in the development of man in society is an important one in view of the heightened role of scientific knowledge in general, and of social knowledge in particular, in implementing (...) the CPSU's program for accelerating the country's socioeconomic development. У статті розглянуто процес розподілу Чорноморського флоту СРСР у період 1991-1997 рр. між незалежною Україною та Російською Федерацією на тлі проблеми приєднання Криму та Севастополя до УРСР 1954 р. Акцентовано увагу на неврегулюванні цього питання на міждержавному рівні. Наголошено на незмінності імперської позиції Росії щодо перегляду питання повернення Криму та Севастополя як стратегічно важливих об'єктів її зовнішньої політики в Чорноморсько-Середземноморському регіоні. Підкреслено негативне ставлення сучасних російських політиків до партійно-урядових рішень СРСР та РФРСР 1954 р. про передачу Кримської області до складу (...) Української РСР. Наведено спільні російсько-українські законодавчі акти, у яких російська сторона гарантувала й зобов'язувалась поважати територіальну цілісність і недоторканість незалежної України. (shrink)
