Adrian Miaskowski należy do wybitniejszych jezuitów polskich na przełomie XVII i XVIII w. Był pedagogiem, autorem Dialektyki, płodnym pisarzem w dziedzinie teologii, rektorem kilku kolegiów i prowincjałem jezuitów. W dotychczasowej literaturze istnieje na jego temat sporo dłuższych lub krótszych tekstów i wzmianek, a jego nazwisko figuruje w wielu encyklopediach i słownikach, na czele z Polskim Słownikiem Biograficznym. Jednakże jego poglądy filozoficzne nie były dotąd przedmiotem zainteresowania. Niniejsze krótkie opracowanie ma za cel wypełnić tę lukę. Zawiera biografię Miaskowskiego, przegląd treści Dialektyki (...) i zawartych w niej poglądów, oceny Dialektyki oraz omówienie elementów filozofii człowieka i filozofii Boga, zawartych w traktatach teologicznych Miaskowskiego. Dans cette etude, mon propos est de presenter d'abord les etapes de la vie d'Ortiz, en me basant avant tout sur les sources manuscrites de son epoque, puisees dans les Archives Centrales des Jesuites a Rome. Je donnerai ensuite une description de son oeuvre philosophique et j'exposerai ses conceptions philosophiques principales. The article summarizes the book Filozofia Jezuitów na ziemiach dawnej Rzeczypospolitej w XIX wieku [The Philosophy of the Jesuit in the Terriroties of the Former Commonwealth: Poland, Lithuania, Belarus and Ukraine in the 19th Century], by Roman Darowski.

Poniższe opracowanie obejmuje zasadniczo wiek XX. Nawiązuje jednak do pewnych dokumentów i faktów z XIX w., które miały znaczny wpływ na kształt filozofii jezuitów w XX w. Chodzi zwłaszcza o nową wersję dawnej Ratio studiorum z 1832 r. oraz o encyklikę Aeterni Patris z 1879 r. Badając dzieje filozofii jezuitów w Polsce, można wyróżnić: 1) filozofia związana z nauczaniem, głównie w Wydziale Filozoficznym Towarzystwa Jezusowego w Krakowie, oraz 2) filozofia pozaszkolna, a więc nie związana ścisłej z nauczaniem.

The whole philosophy represented by Angiolini is in line with Italian Catholic philosophy, which in turn was influenced by the traditional Jesuit Collegium Romanum. The philosophy of Angiolini contains certain Suarezian ideas. In this respect it was influenced by the Jesuit tradition, especially as regards the mental difference between essence and (...) existence, and modalism. (shrink)

Le livre presente le probleme de la transcendance de Thomme d'apres les createurs de l'Ecole de Philosophie de Lublin. Cette ecole est nee a Lublin dans le milieu de l'Universite Catholique apres la deuxieme guerre mondiale. Elle est representee par des penseurs comme M. A. Krąpiec OP et le Cardinal K. Wojtyła. Ces deux philosophes ont aborde, dans leurs recherches, des problemes anthropologiques et ils ont presente une theorie interessante de l'homme. Dans leur theorie, la transcendance de l'homme est mise (...) en relief d'une fagon particuliere. C'est la dimension de I'homme qui decide de la priorite de son etre, de sa dignite et de sa valeur parmi les autres etres dans le monde. (shrink)

He was one of the most famous Christian philosophers of the nineteenth century. His work was also the first extensive philosophy textbook of that time which included a l l the disciplines of the time, published by the Jesuits after the re-establishment of the Order in 1814.. Pierwsza grupa jezuitów przybyła do Polski w jesieni 1564 r. Na początku następnego roku otwarli oni w Braniewie na Warmii kolegium z pięcioklasową szkołą średnią oraz Internat, zwany Konwiktem Szlacheckim. Już w r. 1566 wprowadzili wykłady dialektyki w klasie wymowy i kontynuowali je przez następne dwa lata. Wykłady te były początkowo przeznaczone dla konwiktorów oraz towarzyszących im zwykle wychowawców, a także dla eksternów. Pierwszym wykładowcą dialektyki w Braniewie był jezuita czeski Baltazar Hostounsky. W lecie 1565 r. został on wiceprowincjałem w (...) Polsce z zadaniem czuwania nad kolegium w Braniewie, w którym naukę pobierało ponad 200 uczniów, oraz nad początkami fundacji kolegium w Pułtusku. Hostounsky uważał, ze system szkolny jezuitów należy przystosować do tradycji szkoły polskiej, m.in. przez wprowadzenie do programu nauczania matematyki, a zwłaszcza dialektyki. (shrink)

Ceux qui sent ecrits en langues plus connues, sont enumeres dans la bibliographie a la fin de cet article. Malgre cela, on ne pent pas dire que cette philosophie soit suffisamment explicite. Mais actuellement, il existe deja des fondements plus solides pour essayer de creer une synthese de cette philosophie. Cet essai est d'autant plus fonde que d'apres l'opinion de (...) quelques historiens une synthese doit etre faite a chaque etape des recherches. Le present essai de synthese traite de la philosophie enseignee du XVIᵉ au XVIIIᵉ slecle dans les colleges des jesuites en Pologne et en Lituanie qui constituaient alors un seul etat — une Republique des deux Nations. II se rapporte donc au territoire de cet etat dans ses frontieres historiques. L'article comprend la periode de I'arrivee des jesuites en Pologne en 1564 jusqu'a la suppression de leur ordre en 1773.
