Арсен річинський про національні церкви як спосіб реалізації універсального змісту християнства.Leonid Kondratyk - 2006 - Ukrainian Religious Studies 41:76-85.
We consider our task to give an analysis of A. Richinsky's views on the problem of correlation between Christian universalism and nationalism and the emergence of national Christian churches. For Ritsynsky, the question of the relation between religious universalism and nationalism was not merely theoretical. It was of a purely practical practical nature, since it touched the sphere of independence of Ukrainian religious and ecclesiastical life. That is why it was necessary to find out "Is the separation of the Ukrainian (...)

    Проблема "релігія – нація – церква" у спадщині діячів українського національного відродження.Leonid Kondratyk & O. Kondratyk - 2009 - Ukrainian Religious Studies 50:182-193.
For Ukrainian, this problem has repeatedly appeared as fatal, especially in the years of the Ukrainian Revolution, when important steps were taken to give Orthodox-church life an autocephalous character. Therefore, not only scientific interest, but also the very conditions of national revival stimulated the study of this issue. We now observe a similar situation both in church and religious life and in theoretical discussions on this issue. Evidence of the latter is a significant recent publication which addresses and solves the (...)

Belief in God as a structural element of religion in the work of V.Lipinsky.Leonid Kondratyk - 2001 - Ukrainian Religious Studies 21:55-63.
In the sociology of religion V.Lipinsky one of the central places is the question of the structure of religion. It should be noted immediately that in the Ukrainian academic religious studies of the age of national revival its approach is distinctive and does not coincide with any other. There is no doubt that there are certain parallels between the Lypinskii, on the one hand, and the Peshativ or Shapoval views of the structure of religion, but they are fundamentally different.

Ideas of Civil Religion in the Creative Work of Cyril Methodians.Leonid Kondratyk - 2018 - Ukrainian Religious Studies 85:53-63.
Kondratyk L. "Ideas of Civil Religion in the Creative Work of Cyril Methodians". The author is based on the fact that the civil religion is such a sociocultural phenomenon in which, through the prism of a peculiar religious language and specific practices, the necessity of acquiring and establishing a national state is substantiated, which originates in the need of the community to find the sacral in the activity that is inherent in the transcendent, eternally -linear character and which is rooted (...)

The most important area of his studies is the process of creation in which he distinguishes between two stages - ethnogenesis and natiogenesis. The ethnogenetic process, according to O. Bochkovsky, lasted until the Great French Revolution. Its main result is the formation of the people as - ethnographic raw materials. Let us dwell on this in more detail.

Religion in the creative heritage of V.Lipinsky.Leonid Kondratyk - 1999 - Ukrainian Religious Studies 10:22-28.
In the history of Ukrainian sociology of religion, the figure is V.Lipinsky. In this area, his attention was focused on comprehension of the significance of religion in the history of Ukrainian society, the role of various Christian denominations in the development of our culture, in the state and nation-building processes. In this article an attempt is made to investigate the understanding of the essence of religion as such by the Ukrainian thinker. It is known that religious and religious ideas of (...)

Religion in the Legacy of Nikita Shapoval.Leonid Kondratyk - 2004 - Ukrainian Religious Studies 29:103-113.
One of the pressing problems of contemporary Ukrainian religious studies is the study of its own history, some of which were either deformed or silenced in Soviet times. The practice of silence primarily concerned representatives of the Ukrainian revival of the early twentieth century, who, through their socio-political and scientific activities, asserted the right of the Ukrainian nation to independent development. The cohort of these prominent figures included Nikita Shapoval. Studying his religious heritage is important in view of the following (...)

The doctrine of Vyacheslav Lipinsky about religious ideology in the context of religious studies of the era of Ukrainian national renaissance.Leonid Kondratyk - 2001 - Ukrainian Religious Studies 18:59-66.
An important place in the religious studies concept of the outstanding Ukrainian scientist and social thinker V.Lipinsky is the problem of the formation of religious ideology and overcoming its crisis status. The question of religious ideology in the legacy of a scientist is in organic relation with his own theory of ideology as such.

Universalism and character of religious life of ethnic groups.Leonid Kondratyk - 2004 - Ukrainian Religious Studies 30:13-23.
The problem of the correlation between universalism and nationalism has long been the subject of scholarly debate and social harassment by conflicting social groups. To some extent, this is understandable, since a practical conflict between the universal and the national has always existed in any world religion. "This contradiction is historical," L. Filipovich emphasizes, "it emerges with their appearance. Traditionally, the universal and the cosmopolitan in religion have been opposed to the local and ethnic, which is connected with the origin (...)
