    Es wird gezeigt, dass gerade in kulturellen Kontaktzonen nicht nur das kulturell Unterschiedliche ubernommen oder angeeignet wird. Vielmehr entsteht im transkulturellen Ubersetzungsprozess etwas Drittes. Dieses Dritte resultiert sowohl aus der kulturellen Vermittlung jedweder Wahrnehmung als auch aus der menschlichen Bestimmung zur Kulturalitat.
