A scoping review of the moral distress of military nurses in crisis military deployment.Juan Chen, Fan Li, Xiaomeng Hu, Pu Yang & Ying He - 2023 - Nursing Ethics 30 (7-8):922-938.
Background “Crisis military deployment” was defined as a situation in which military personnel are suddenly ordered to duty to support an operation away from their home station and in a potentially dangerous environment. Chinese Character Processing in Visual Masking.Juan Chen & Ye Zhang - 2022 - Frontiers in Psychology 12.
It has not been clarified if attention influences perception of targets in visual masking. Three forms of common masks were thus chosen in the present study and presented with character targets in three temporal sequences. In order to pinpoint the level of processing where masking arises, character targets were varied in depth of processing from random arrangements of strokes up to real Chinese characters. The attentional influence was examined under perceptual discrimination and lexical decision tasks, respectively. The results revealed significant (...)

Discovering Travel Spatiotemporal Pattern Based on Sequential Events Similarity.Juanjuan Chen, Liying Huang, Chengliang Wang & Nijia Zheng - 2020 - Complexity 2020:1-10.

While most literature puts the focus on route recommendation of individual scenic spots instead of city travel, we propose a novel approach named City Travel Route Recommendation based on Sequential Events Similarity by applying the coevolving spreading dynamics of the city tour networks and mine the (...)

Sustainable development and corporate environmental responsibility: Evidence from chinese corporations. [REVIEW]Mao He & Juan Chen - 2009 - Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Ethics 22 (4):323-339.
China is currently experiencing rapid economic growth. The price of this, however, is environment pollution. Many Chinese corporations are lacking in corporate environmental responsibility (CER). Therefore, this study employs data from Chinese and multinational corporations to identify why Chinese corporations seldom engage in CER by investigating their motivations and stakeholders. The results show that the most important reason why Chinese corporations do not engage in CER is the fact that their competitive strategy of cost cutting makes them limited in resources, (...)
