This book is a study of twelve major Confucian philosophical concepts and related issues. These are dynamic harmony (he和), care-centered virtue(ren仁), ritual propriety(li禮), filial care (xiao孝), differentiated gender equilibrium (bie别), friendship (you友), longevity (shou壽), sagehood (sheng聖), equality (qi齊), freedom (ziyou自由), politics (zheng政), and education (jiao教). Each chapter presents something new: a novel interpretation from a fresh angle, an insight that has been neglected in scholarship, or a reformed idea that connects tradition with modern sensibilities. Collectively they serve as a general (...) introduction to progressive Confucian philosophy in the twenty-first century. Freedom is intrinsic to a good life. An account of the Confucian conception of the good life must include a reasonable conception of freedom. Studies in Chinese ideas of freedom, however, have been focused mostly on Daoism. A quick survey of some fine books on Chinese philosophy shows little result on Confucian freedom.1 In this essay, I argue that attributing a notion of “free will” to Confucian philosophy has serious limitations; it will be more fruitful to draw on contemporary feminist (...) theories of freedom and autonomy, particularly the notion of autonomy competency, in explicating Confucian freedom. From the very beginning of Philosophy. The Onto was just the target object of human’s thinking. Aristotle ever demonstrated that the Onto is a pure format being. (本体是纯 形式体) Then, what is this Onto? What is this pure format being? I present an answer in my this paper. If an object could exist independently, then, I call it “ZHUTI”（主体）; If a “ZHUTI” could be felt, then, I call it “SHITI”(实体), such as the stone, the tree; If a “ZHUTI” could not (...) be felt, then, I call it “XUTI”(虚体), such as the law,the rule in the nature.“SHITI” or “XUTI” is the special being of the Onto. Refers to the Onto, its attribute is the common attribute of all the “ZHUTI”. Weknow the movement is the common attribute of all the “ZHUTI”. Then, we could say the movement is also the attribute of the Onto. From where the movement come? Besides from external, the movement come from the contradiction inside the “zhuti”, for a pair of contradiction units within a same “zhuti” could produce the force for the movement. The Onto move of course by its inside force. So, in the Onto there should be a pair of contradiction units which produce the force. Nothing could dominate the Onto. So, the pair of contradiction units in the Onto should be not another “zhuti”, but the Onto itself. This means the pair ofcontradiction units in the Onto is the Onto itself. So, the Onto is just that uniform contradiction being. It is there independently, but can not felt, so, it is “XUTI”. In the word of Aristotle, it is the pure format being（纯形式体）。The uniform contradiction being is the Onto. The Onto is the uniform contradiction being. Any “zhuti” is a kind of special uniform contradiction being body. Human, is also a kind of special uniform contradiction being body. Then, what is the uniform contradiction being body in human? This is another topic for further study. As per above answer of the Onto, we could get the way to find out what is the uniform contradiction being body in human, after we find out this answer, then, we could find out all the knowledge about the human being. Turn of the century, Chinese culture, philosophy has become the study of philosophy school of learning. In recent years, research in this field has been further promoted. In this paper,从overall philosophy of culture and deepens the understanding of Marxist philosophy and cultural relations, the cultural context of globalization, conflict and cultural transformation on three aspects reviewed this development, and on this basis the study of philosophy in Chinese culture proposed a forward-looking. Sen's classic social choice result supposedly demonstrates a conflict between Pareto and even minimal forms of liberalism. By providing the first direct mathematical proof of this seminal result, we underscore a significantly different interpretation: rather than conflicts among rights, Sen's result occurs because the liberalism assumption negates the assumption that voters have transitive preferences.
