Several features of the yeast mitochondrial genome, including high mutation rate, dynamic genomic structure, small effective population size, and dispensability for cellular viability, make it a promising candidate for generating hybrid incompatibility and driving speciation. Cytonuclear incompatibility, a specific type of Dobzhansky‐Muller genetic incompatibility caused by improper interactions between mitochondrial and nuclear genomes, has previously been observed in a variety of organisms, yet its role in speciation remains obscure. Recent studies in Saccharomyces yeast species provide a new insight, with experimental (...) evidence that cytonuclear incompatibility and DNA sequence divergence are both causes of the reproductive isolation of different yeast species. Interestingly, these two mechanisms seem to be perfectly complementary to each other in terms of their effects and evolutionary trajectories. A growing literature looks at how the design of the electoral system shapes the voting behavior of politicians in parliaments. Existing research tends to confirm that in mixed-member systems the politicians elected in the single-member districts are more likely to vote against their parties than the politicians elected on the party lists. However, we find that in South Korea, the members of the Korean National Assembly who were elected on PR lists are more likely to vote against their party leadership (...) than the members elected in single-member districts (SMDs). This counterintuitive behavior stems from the particular structure of candidate selection and politicians' career paths. This suggests that any theory of how electoral systems shape individual parliamentary behavior needs to look beyond the opportunities provided by the electoral rules for voters to reward or punish individual politicians (as opposed to parties), to the structure of candidate selection inside parties and the related career paths of politicians. Because of the rising labor costs and the trade impact after joining the World Trade Organization, the textile industry in Taiwan has encountered many operational and production problems and obstacles. In addition, the lack of knowledge and resources for the digital transformation required to improve business performance has led to poor production and decision-making efficiency, and stagnant R&D for textile product innovation. In order to improve business operations, enhance customer satisfaction and experience, increase efficiency and reduce manual error, this study (...) was conducted with senior executives and company managers in Taiwan’s textile industry as the target population. The knowledge, technological resources, and competitive pressure of digital transformation are the independent variables. The organizational innovation atmosphere is the moderating variable. The study analyzes the impact of digital transformation on the intention of enterprises. The results of the study show that the knowledge of digital transformation, technological resources, and the competitive pressure of the textile industry positively and significantly affect their perceived benefits of digital transformation. Digital transformation knowledge, technological resources, and competitive pressure will negatively and significantly affect the perceived risk of digital transformation. The perceived benefits and risks of digital transformation are related to the intention of digital transformation of enterprises. The organizational innovation atmosphere of the textile industry positively moderates the influence of perceived benefits on digital transformation intention. Finally, based on the research findings, this study provides practical recommendations to senior executives and company managers in the textile industry. Although considerable attention has been paid to the application of leadership in virtual communities, the field of live streaming has not been involved. This exploratory study aimed to explore how different broadcaster leadership traits influence audiences’ loyalty. And audience self-construal was chosen as a key moderator. The top 15 broadcasters from the regional rankings were selected from each of the two popular live streaming platforms, Douyu and YouTube, for the study. And we used snowball sampling with a link to an (...) online questionnaire as a recruitment procedure. 310 audiences with live streaming experience from the Chinese Mainland and Taiwan participated. Hierarchical linear modeling was adopted for the analysis. This study found that broadcasters with servant and charismatic leadership traits positively affected cognitive loyalty. Broadcasters with servant leadership traits also had a positive effect on conative loyalty. Additionally, independent self-construal negatively moderated the relationship between servant leadership and cognitive loyalty. Independent self-construal positively moderated the relationship between authoritarian leadership and conative loyalty. Furthermore, interdependent self-construal negatively moderated the relationship between charismatic leadership and conative loyalty. Interdependent self-construal positively moderated the relationship between authoritarian leadership and conative loyalty. These conclusions extend the understanding of broadcasters’ traits and audiences’ psychology concerning the booming phenomenon of live streaming and can help platform managers motivate audiences’ loyalty on these platforms. High-tech industries often regard workers as their main source of value creation. In order to stimulate their employees' willingness to innovate and their innovative behavior and reduce the turnover intention, companies are now seeking to establish employer–employee relationships in which their employee's willingness to stay is not simply driven by extrinsic motivations. Therefore, it is an important topic in human resources for companies to implement measures that encourage employees to willingly devote themselves to their jobs and consider organizational growth as (...) a component of their career development. This study aimed to investigate the effect of person–organization fit and person–job fit on employees' innovative behavior and turnover intention via the mediators including job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Six hundred ninety-seven employees from China's eight major high-tech industries were examined in this study, and the empirical results were analyzed using partial least squares. Based on the results, it is suggested that the person–organization fit and person–job fit are both crucial factors affecting employees' job satisfaction and organizational commitment, which, in turn, increase employees' willingness to innovate in their jobs and reduce their turnover intentions. Furthermore, this study could serve as a reference for companies in selecting employees, promoting job satisfaction, and developing strategies for sustainable development. (shrink)

BackgroundThe Basal ganglia (BG) played a crucial role in the brain-level mechanisms of chronic pain disorders. However, the functional changes of BG in chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS) are still poorly understood. This study investigated the BG subregions’ resting-state functional connectivity (rs-FC) in CP/CPPS patients compared with healthy controls.MethodsTwenty eight patients with CP/CPPS and 28 age- and education-matched healthy males underwent clinical measurements and 3T brain MR imaging, including T1-weighted structural images and resting-state functional imaging. The data were analyzed (...) by the seeded-based rs-FC analysis. Then, a machine learning method was applied to assess the feasibility of detecting CP/CPPS patients through the changed rs-FC.ResultsCompared with healthy males, patients presented decreased rs-FC between the BG subregions and right middle cingulate cortex, and correlated with pain (r = 0.51, p-uncorrected = 0.005) and urinary symptoms (r = –0.4, p-uncorrected = 0.034). The left superior temporal gyrus and right supramarginal gyrus showed decreased rs-FC with the BG subregions as well. The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of 0.943 (accuracy = 80%, F1-score = 80.6%) was achieved for the classification of CP/CPPS patients and healthy males with support vector machine (SVM) based on the changed rs-FC.ConclusionThese findings provide evidence of altered BG subregions’ rs-FC in CP/CPPS, which may contribute to our understanding of the BG’s role in CP/CPPS. 「三教合一」的命題猶如一口古井， 看似陳舊， 往深處提煉， 又可伸觸潛藏於井底的水脈。 《君師道合：晚明儒者的三教合一論述》透過管志道、楊起元和周汝登，揭示晚明三教合流思維的演變，以及三教合一思想與君道、師道的關係。尤其值得思考的是，晚明儒者對明太祖的歷史記憶與政治認同，對政教統合的認可 ，試圖以「三教觀」來鞏固「君師道合」的想法，置於晚明的思想語境，到底說明了什麼？由此進一歩探索晚明三教思想的思維特色、三教的政治性意涵以及儒者對現實政教關懷等問題。 本書選擇管志道、楊起元和周汝登為本書論述主要對象，大致有以下幾個原因：（一）他們是廣義的陽明後學，在學承和個人學習經驗有所交錯，例如羅汝芳是楊起元的老師，但管志道和周汝登二人，亦深受羅汝芳啟發；（二） 三人皆有深刻的三教思想關懷，而其三教思想扣緊著當時的政治、社會與學術重要問題；（三）彼此有深刻的論學往來，其中以管志道和楊起元，以及楊起元和周汝登的情誼最深。不僅有書信來往，也常互贈詩歌；（四）三人活 動的時間，集中於隆慶、萬曆期間，並且都是南京學圈的重要儒者。最為關鍵是，三人獨特的三教觀和論述，有所交鋒又各有側重，因此適切成為理解晚明三教論述建構與發展的思想社群。值得留意的是，在《明儒學案》〈泰州 學案〉黃宗羲摘錄了楊起元和周汝登的學說，但管志道僅有一小段傳記。而在當代學界，周汝登在思想史上頗有「能見度」以外，管志道和楊起元的思想鮮少被注意，可說已長久成為哲學史或思想史的「失蹤者」。 《君師道合：晚明儒者的三教合一論述》主要的論題核心在於探索晚明的三教合一論述，探討「合一」觀背後的「思想世界」與「歷史脈絡」，找出合一思想的現實關懷，究竟和儒者所面對的時代和思想危機有什麼關聯，以此建 構晚明三教合一的論述場域。書中揭示中晚明三教合流思維的演變，以及儒者三教合一觀所包含的君道與師道的競爭關係。此外，追問三教合一論述又如何安頓政治權力與道德權威等問題。本書採取「論述」的概念，也是在前文 討論的反思基礎上，認為「三教合一」不僅只是一個思想概念，或者是一種思想整合的複雜形態，圍繞著三教合一的各種話語如「出世法」、「君師道」及「治教」等，是晚明儒者的共同關懷，彼此的討論和回應形成重要的論述 場域。 本書第一章為導論。首先提出本書的問題反思，同時檢視「三教合一」研究的多重視野，把握其研究脈絡，最後再從題目和人物選擇考量說明，進一步勾勒出本書主要問題意識。第二章為「明中葉三教合流之衍變」，主要提供三 教交涉的長時段演變背景，並且以王陽明作為主要分界點，探討其如何開拓包容性的三教觀，而後來學者在此思想基礎上，如何找到思想出路，以致跨出良知學話語，建立自己的思想關懷和立場。第三章探索管志道的「乾元統天 」之學。第四章以楊起元「孝弟慈」大成之學為討論主軸。第五章則論周汝登的「三教統體」之學。第六章為結論。從管志道、楊起元與周汝登三教合一論述的比較，總結其如何蘊含「政教化」傾向。.
