    Generix Never Gives Up.Eric Jaligot - 2006 - Journal of Symbolic Logic 71 (2):599 - 610.
We prove conjugacy and generic disjointness of generous Carter subgroups in groups of finite Morley rank. We elaborate on groups with a generous Carter subgroup and on a minimal counterexample to the Genericity Conjecture.

Full frobenius groups of finite Morley rank and the Feit-Thompson theorem.Eric Jaligot - 2001 - Bulletin of Symbolic Logic 7 (3):315-328.
We show how the notion of full Frobenius group of finite Morley rank generalizes that of bad group, and how it seems to be more appropriate when we consider the possible existence (still unknown) of nonalgebraic simple groups of finite Morley rank of a certain type, notably with no involution. We also show how these groups appear as a major obstacle in the analysis of FT-groups, if one tries to extend the Feit-Thompson theorem to groups of finite Morley rank.

    Independence property and hyperbolic groups.Eric Jaligot, Alexey Muranov & Azadeh Neman - 2008 - Bulletin of Symbolic Logic 14 (1):88 - 98.
In continuation of [JOH04, OH07], we prove that existentially closed CSA-groups have the independence property. This is done by showing that there exist words having the independence property relative to the class of torsion-free hyperbolic groups.

Two remarks on elementary theories of groups obtained by free constructions.Eric Jaligot - 2013 - Mathematical Logic Quarterly 59 (1-2):12-18.
We give two slight generalizations of results of Poizat about elementary theories of groups obtained by free constructions. The first-one concerns generic types and the non-superstability of such groups in many cases. The second-one concerns the connectedness of most free products of groups without amalgamation.
