  5. K pojmu "přirozeného zákona" (bytí lidsky jsoucího) v Hobbesově filosofii.Vladimr Kypr - 2011 - E-Logos 18 (1):1-41.

    Open questions related to the problem of Birkhoff and Maltsev.M. E. Adams, K. V. Adaricheva, W. Dziobiak & A. V. Kravchenko - 2004 - Studia Logica 78 (1-2):357-378.
The Birkhoff-Maltsev problem asks for a characterization of those lattices each of which is isomorphic to the lattice L(K) of all subquasivarieties for some quasivariety K of algebraic systems. The current status of this problem, which is still open, is discussed. Various unsolved questions that are related to the Birkhoff-Maltsev problem are also considered, including ones that stem from the theory of propositional logics.

    Confessionals, Testimonials: Women's Speech in/and Contexts of Violence.K. E. Supriya - 1996 - Hypatia 11 (4):92 - 106.
Theories of discursive genres provide the philosophical and theoretical framework for the empirical examination of the ways in which immigrant women construct their cultural identities in contexts of violence. The claim of the paper is that the analytical genres of confessional and testimonial discourse enable the examination of the particular ways by which immigrant women both reproduce and resist power and violence.

  16. Economic Essays by David Ricardo.E. C. K. Gonner (ed.) - 2014 - Routledge.
David Ricardo was a hugely influential British political economist and stock trader. This volume, first published in 1923, contains five important pamphlets published by him, edited and with an overarching introductory essay by E. C. K. Gonner. Each essay relates either to monetary and financial subjects - including the high price of Bullion, monetary theory and the position of the Bank of England - or to the agricultural conditions of Britain and proposed solutions to the problems discussed. This is a (...)

    Discourse of future-orientedness as neoliberal ideal: metaphor scenarios as a means of representing neoliberal logics.Marissa K. L. E. - 2021 - Critical Discourse Studies 18 (5):582-599.
ABSTRACT Neoliberalism is a pervasive hegemonic phenomena that manifests in variegated ways which can be associated with the numerous trajectories that it undertakes as it pervades various geographical contexts. This paper examines the metaphorical representations of neoliberal logics in the Singapore higher education context with the aim of elucidating how neoliberalism is applied towards particular objectives that are deemed as necessary and relevant by the Singapore state. The paper focuses specifically on the discourse of future-orientedness as state-sanctioned neoliberal ideal and (...)

    Erratum.J. K. E. - 1962 - Classical Quarterly 12 (01):31-.
I take this opportunity of correcting a particularly reprehensible error of my own on p. 140 of my edition of these poems. At A.A. 1. 730 read ‘…hoc multri †non ualuisse† putant’; and at 11. 3-4 of the critical apparatus read ‘equidem multi utique’ eqs. In other words, the manuscripts are unanimous in offering multi. I hope that Dr. Lenz will be glad to have this evidence of our common humanity.

Modern social and scientific-technological progress have resulted in an unprecedented acceleration of rates of change in all the principal elements of the system comprising the material life of society: production, social relationships, the geographic environment, population, and others. This made more obvious the complex interrelationship among these elements and the need to coordinate them rationally within the framework of the single system of mutual determination of various natural and social factors, any disruption of the stability and integrity of which is (...)

Executive functions in insight versus non-insight problem solving: An individual differences approach.E. Fioratou & K. J. Gilhooly - 2009 - Thinking and Reasoning 15 (4):355-376.
This study investigated the roles of the executive functions of inhibition and switching, and of verbal and visuo-spatial working memory capacities, in insight and non-insight tasks. A total of 18 insight tasks, 10 non-insight tasks, and measures of individual differences in working memory capacities, switching, and inhibition were administered to 120 participants. Performance on insight problems was not linked with executive functions of inhibition or switching but was linked positively to measures of verbal and visuo-spatial working memory capacities. Non-insight task (...)

GIS is a vital tool to help the decision-makers in managing and classifying these resources in terms of quantity and quality within the concept of sustainable development. The paper extracts some models of investment map indicators. In addition to that, it conducts a study and research aimed at developing a mineral resources management and discovering and (...)
