    In Unruly Words, Diana Raffman advances a new theory of vagueness which, unlike previous accounts, is genuinely semantic while preserving bivalence. Stakeholder groups and competitors might exert pressure on companies to implement CSR, which could lead to positive effects on market performance. We test the propositionthat purchasing agents’ perceptions of organizational expectations influence their behavior.
