    Wolfgang Pauli Und C. G. Jung: Ein Briefwechsel 1932–1958.Wolfgang Pauli, C. A. Meier, C. G. Jung & M. Fierz - 1992 - Springer.

Efforts for the Correct Comprehension of Deceitful and Ironic Communicative Intentions in Schizophrenia: A Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging Study on the Role of the Left Middle Temporal Gyrus.R. Morese, C. Brasso, M. Stanziano, A. Parola, M. C. Valentini, F. M. Bosco & P. Rocca - 2022 - Frontiers in Psychology 13.
Deficits in social cognition and more specifically in communication have an important impact on the real-life functioning of people with schizophrenia. In particular, patients have severe problems in communicative-pragmatics, for example, in correctly inferring the speaker’s communicative intention in everyday conversational interactions. This limit is associated with morphological and functional alteration of the left middle temporal gyrus, a cerebral area involved in various communicative processes, in particular in the distinction of ironic communicative intention from sincere and deceitful ones. We performed (...)

Reciprocal and Coactivation Commands Are Not Sufficient to Describe Muscle Activation Patterns.C. C. A. M. Gielen & B. van Bolhuis - 1995 - Behavioral and Brain Sciences 18 (4):754-755.
Recent results have shown that the relative activation of muscles is different for isometric contractions and for movements. These results exclude an explanation of muscle activation patterns by a combination ofreciprocal and coactivation commands. These results also indicate that joint stiffness is not uniquely determined and that it may be different for isometric contractions and movements.

How Do Neuronal and Muscle-Mechanical Properties Contribute to the Performance of the “Delta Lognormal” Model?C. C. A. M. Gielen - 1997 - Behavioral and Brain Sciences 20 (2):308-309.
Plamondon & Alimi's model will gain substantially in credibility when it is able to come up with predictions for new (rather than old) experimental results that discriminate between various models. Moreover, the present model is nothing more than a descriptive not an explanation for motor performance. A link to the contribution of various neuronal mechanisms involved in motor control and of muscle properties to the performance of the model is crucial.

  45. On Physicalism and Downward Causation in Developmental and Cancer Biology.A. M. Soto, C. Sonnenschein & P. A. Miquel - 2008 - Acta Biotheoretica 56 (4):257-274.
The dominant position in Philosophy of Science contends that downward causation is an illusion. Instead, we argue that downward causation doesn’t introduce vicious circles either in physics or in biology. We also question the metaphysical claim that “physical facts fix all the facts.” Downward causation does not imply any contradiction if we reject the assumption of the completeness and the causal closure of the physical world that this assertion contains. We provide an argument for rejecting this assumption. Furthermore, this allows (...)
