Aujourd’hui, les images du monde sont plus que des éléments figuratifs d’une cosmologie. Elles déterminent de manière médiatique la façon selon laquelle nous apercevons le monde et le savoir que nous en avons. La contribution fait une analyse, sur le modèle de Martin Heidegger, du devenir du monde en image du début de l’époque moderne jusqu’à aujourd’hui. L’importance est accordée principalement aux paramètres d’un concept scientifique du monde et ses transformations concernant le changement des médias . Selon Ofak, les images (...) scientifiques correspondent en même temps à une preuve et une prophétie. Finalement, un aperçu de la portée des simulations sur ordinateur dans les sciences modernes confirme cette thèse. (shrink)

Slike svijeta su danas više nego očigledni elementi jedne kozmologije. One medijalno determiniraju način na koji spoznajemo svijet i time isto znanje koje o njemu imamo. Oslanjajući se na Martin Heideggera tekst analizira nastajanje slika svijeta od ranoga novog vijeka do sadašnjice. Centralno značenje se pri tome pridonosi parametrima znanstvenog oblikovanja slike svijeta i njihovim transformacijama u odnosu prema promjeni medija . Pri tome autorica razmatra tezu po kojoj se znanstvene slike istovremeno shvaćaju kao dokaz i proročanstvo. Uvid u prakse (...) kompjutorskih simulacija na polju modernih znanosti na kraju teksta pomaže poslužiti kao potpora tezi. (shrink)

Heute sind Weltbilder mehr als anschauliche Elemente einer Kosmologie. Sie determinieren medial die Art und Weise, wie wir die Welt wahrnehmen und welches Wissen wir über sie haben. In Anlehnung an Martin Heidegger untersucht der Beitrag das Werden der Welt zum Bild von der Frühneuzeit bis in die Gegenwart. Eine zentrale Bedeutung wird dabei den Parametern eines wissenschaftlichen Entwurfs der Welt und seinen Transformationen in Bezug auf Medienwechsel beigemessen. Ofak verfolgt die These, dass wissenschaftliche Bilder einem Beweis und einer Prophetie (...) zugleich entsprechen. Ein Einblick in die Praxis der Computersimulation in den modernen Wissenschaften hilft diese These zu erhärten. (shrink)

Today, the world image is far more than a figurative element of a cosmology. Just like a medium, it determines the way we perceive the world as well as the knowledge we possess about it. Following Martin Heidegger, the article analyses the process of becoming of the world image from the early modernity to the present times. The parameters a scientific draft of the world image displays and its transformations regarding alternating media have a central meaning in this process. The (...) author follows the idea that scientific images, which are a crucial part of the world image, serve as a proof and at the same time a prophecy. This assumption is substantiated through an insight into practices of computer simulation in modern sciences. (shrink)
