The Modern Views about Zhuang Zi's Opinions of Language

Abstract

In the pre-Qin philosophers, Chuang Tzu is the language had made ​​a few important advice. He said that the language does not express it that is what he calls the language of the undecided. As a result of the language of uncertain non-endless debate, but the argument is a non-homogeneous materials can not cause the main reason. However, to eliminate non-adversarial, but have to be the cause of right and wrong from the start to fully understand not. In this paper, the philosophy of language and the theory of set theory to re-examine this important point, with a view to better understanding of Zhuangzi. Zhuang Zi was one of the few pre-qin scholars who made important statements about language. He didn't think language could present Dao, and that was what he meant by the uncertainty of language. The uncertainty of language resulted in infinite argument while the argument about right and wrong was the main cause why men and things are not equal. Yet to eliminate disputes, we have to deal with the causes of disputes. In this paper, we employ the philosophy of language and the set theory to re-consider this important view, in wishes to understand more about the doctrines of Zhuang Zi
