Abstract

Reflective of modern solipsism of the operating mechanism; some of the basic phenomena of modernity, technology, capitalism, liberalism and historicism only on the basis of reflective solipsism can be properly understood; to overcome the predicament of modernity that widespread alienation and nihilism, we must first overcome the reflexive solipsism. Reflective solipsism is the mechanism of modernity; only by reflective solipsism could the basic phenomenon of modernity, that is, technologism, capitalism, liberalism and historicism, be correctly understood; to overcome the bewilderment of modernity, that is, universal alienation and nihilism, is to overcome reflective solipsism
