Abstract

Plato's "Utopia," Volume 10 in the two problems has long been the object of diverse researchers Ju Song, because it is not correctly understand these two issues People tend to believe that volume 10 and the book, volume 10 its lack of coherence. This article is intended to overthrow this understanding, through the analysis of "Utopia," the book demonstrate the problem structure and the development of the plot clues, pointing out the location and volume 10 of the inevitability of the above two topics appear, and ultimately a strong defense of the "Utopia" book and Volume 10 of the integrity, and volume 10 are involved in both philosophy and poetry of conflict and harmony of the dual relationship as the basis, reveals the structural characteristics of volume 10. Many Plato scholars have always insisted on the inconsistency of Republic and the tenth book of it, because they find it is difficult to understand why Socrates would criticize poetry for the second time in the tenth book and would end the whole book with a myth . This paper aims to dismantle the argument of inconsistency and to show the necessity of the emergency of the two themes in question through an analysis of how the argument is built and how the plot is developed in Republic. In doing so, this paper ultimately defends the consistency of Republic and the tenth book in a relentless way, disclosing what is so characteristic of the structure of the latter, with a comprehension of the dual relation of conflict and concord between poetry and philosophy
