A Caring Approach To Education Of Professional Ethics

Abstract

This article discusses how to Nel Noddings's care ethics applied to professional ethics education. In addition to analyzing the significance of professional ethics and professional ethics of the aims of education, which explore the theoretical basis of professional ethics, and summarize the important contemporary ethical theory and controversy, by the principles of ethics and virtue ethics to discuss the problems and limitations, to highlight Noddings's caring ethics theory to construct a model for the future of ethics education transfer, and finally by the "care and relations," "We are interdependence" and "caring ability and professional attitude is to rely on the ideal" argument, as a caring orientation The core concept of professional ethics education. Different from both Kantian principle-based ethics and Aristotle's virtue-oriented ethics, the ethic of care arose out of the attempt to develop an ethical theory that recognizes women's moral experiences. The ethic of care is fundamental relational ; it concerns with caring relations, dependent selves and caring responsibility. The purpose of this study will explore the ethics of care and apply it to education of professional ethics. Professional ethics is not only designed to consider our ordinary action, judgments and justification, or focused on the character of individuals. In the conclusion, Ⅰ note the caring approach would be of benefit to teaching of professional ethics, and offer a solid foundation for a moral education
