Carl Marx's View on Liberty and Equality and the French Liberalism

Abstract

Marxist classical writers on freedom, equality, and the discussion of the ideology of Marxism, with the modern Western liberal theory has a close relationship that can exist between the two will pass each other, with reference to space. This paper mainly to 19th century French liberal theory, for example, Marx's freedom, equality and the concept of modern liberalism to make a parallel preliminary study, intended to illustrate Marx's concept of freedom and equality of Marxist ideology is an important but often neglected part of the Marxist system itself also contains a clear liberal tendencies. Marxist classical works on liberty and equality and even the whole ideological system of Marxism have been closely related to the modem theory of western liberalism. There is some room for intercommunication and inter-reference between the two. This thesis, based on the 19 century theory of the French liberalism, aims to have a parallel survey on Marx's view on liberty and equality and the modem liberalism and to explain that Marx's view on liberty and equality is an important yet ignored part of the ideological system of Marxism and Marist system itself embodies a clear tendency of liberalism
