Abstract

This review takes a look at Ezio Di Nucci’s new book Mindlessness. In this book, Di Nucci discusses the important topic of unreflective, spontaneous, habitual, and “automatic” action, thereby showing how much Analytic philosophy of action can profit from recent empirical investigations of unreflective behavior.
