Abstract

Starting from 1980’s, Social Constructivists within Science and Technology Studies systematically produce articles on the nature of technology and science. Their view is important with respect to two issues: first, they try to articulate the nature of technology by giving detailed examples from the history of technology. Secondly, they suggest democratization of technology. Although their view is considerable with respect to these issues, their analysis of philosophy and philosophy of science is not well-developed. The first part of the paper articulates the view of technology they present. The second part is the critique of their view
