Ideal Character in the School of Metaphysics and the "Bao Pu Outer Chapters"
Abstract
Metaphysics Metaphysics means the ideal personality type in their thinking and view of human nature on the basis of the value of life derived from the ideal and perfect state of life. This article first by the pre-Qin Confucianism and Taoism, the ideal personality to make a comparative discussion, thus pumping unravel the Metaphysics rheological ideal personality that context, then the spirit of the times demand as the background, by Ge Hong's "Baopuzi • outside the chapter "The implication of the ideal personality with layers of meaning, revealing the character, on the evaluation of possible gains and losses. "Bao Pu • Inner Chapters" to say Road敎side surgery, but "Outer Chapters" primarily address the pros and cons and things characterize human, when the Confucian position to warn future generations and express one's feelings. The "Bao Pu Inner Chapters" are mostly concerned with te Daoist religion while the "Outer Chapters" deal with the realm of human interaction. They proceed from a Confucian perspective in admonishing the people of the time and expressing hope for a better life in future generations. This article attempts to abstract a structure from the fluctuating times of the Xuan Xue period to more deeply delve into the ideal character and how to achieve it found in the "Outer Chapters". I would like to also simultaneously analyze the ideal character's highest expression, that of the Chinese ideal of "outer kingliness."
