Public reason as a category of public policy areas

Abstract

The article examines «public reason» as phenomenon of modern liberal theory. Concept, offered by J. Rawls is studied as an aggregate of requirements which are pulled out to public political activity of citizens in the conditions of permanent democracy. Drawn conclusion about the connection theories of liberalism and theory of public sphere within the limits of contemporary political science.
