The Return of Vincenzo Cuoco

Abstract

The author reviews the activities of four Italian centres of research which nowadays are autonomously at work on the thought of Vincenzo Cuoco in Milan, Naples, Campobasso, and Pisa. The more recent publications mark the opening of a new season of studies that, often recovering earlier interpretations deeply rooted in Italian historiography, may well be termed a “return to Cuoco”
