Abstract

Reviewing an essay by Anna Maria Voci on the relationship between Meinecke’s enquiries on historicism and K. Hillebrand , the author underlines the peculiarities of Meinecke’s historicism and criticizes any establishment of analogies and search for forerunners which neglects the diversities of cultural context, formative process and intellectual itinerary
