Scientific Knowledge - Moral Consciousness and the Cultural Humanistic Ideal of Our Age

Abstract

Science is the axis of values of the world today. It offers the surest criteria of making the creative effort universal and cultural solidarity. Progress is not only a process of growth, it also is a process of helping the improvement of social relations and political decision-making, the establishment of new values. The scientific interpretation of these questions ought to be parallelled by a humanistic axiological perspective since scientific truth cannot be servered from the other private and social human values which are mutually stimulating and legitimating.
