Abstract

Cancer has become the main cause of death people, due to advances in medical technology, human life is gradually extended. As life expectancy increases, changes in the environment,罹probability of cancer is also relatively increased. We also have access to more cancer patients, medical staff are facing terminal cancer patients more than before, so for cancer patients in medical knowledge more important than before. For the past can no longer accept the curative treatment of terminal cancer patients, often only painful death. However, to ease the growing medical promote the concept of Memorial, under the special terminally ill cancer symptoms treatment medical model has been gradually accepted by the clinicians, the patients in the body part of the symptoms can be a great improvement. However, in cancer patients of medical ethics in because its special part, such as terminal cancer patient's condition told, DNR, treatment patterns, etc., and general acute patients have different; and present, for medical ethics education still not enough, so for terminal cancer patients in medical ethics, education and promotion still needs to be. Most clinicians treat the acute illness, terminal cancer patients so special for medical ethics should be noted, in order to achieve the "holistic" treatment purposes. This article will discuss the basic cancer patients with medical ethics terminal cancer patients in the treatment of some special ethics issue. Cancer is the leading cause of death in Taiwan. The management of terminal symptoms had been improvement since the opinion of palliative treatment were promoted for severe years in Taiwan. There are differences of ethical issues between the patients with terminal and acute diseases. We will discus the special ethical issues such as truth telling, DNR and modalities of treatment etc. in terminal cancer patients
