Abstract

Tomando como pano de fundo a crise contemporânea da ética, o presente artigo procede a uma investigação sobre a concepção ética de Dietrich Bonhoeffer e sobre o modelo de praxis ética por ele elaborado e praticado. O ponto de partida é a suposição de que em Bonhoeffer está presente um paradigma de ética da "mediação", o qual conjuga a eficácia prática, concreta, do agir ético e a experiência de fé, no qual o ser humano é chamado a uma "vida responsável". É assim que dentro deste paradigma se articulam três perspectivas complementares: secularização e "mundo adulto"; a superação do pensamento que tende a dividir a realidade em duas esferas distintas; o tema da "impotência de Deus". /// Against the background of contemporary ethics, the present article inquires into Dietrich Bonhoeffers conception of ethics, i. e. into the paradigm of the ethical praxis he practiced and reflected upon. The point of departure is the assumption that in Bonhoeffer's thought we can find a true "mediation" ethics, which joins together concrete practical behaviour with religious experience, through which the human being is called to live in responsibility. Within such a paradigm three perspectives are connected: secularisation and the thought of a world that is coming of age; the overcoming of that way of thinking in which human beings tend to separate reality into two spheres; the theme of a "helpless God".
