Abstract

This Editorial presents the philosophical work of Herta Nagl-Docekal and especially her recent contributions to a new interpretation of modernity in the context of some deficiencies of post-metaphysical thought. The author offers a comparison between Herta Nagl-Docekal's and Paul Ricoeur's interpretations of Kant's "Religionsschrift", including his utopia of an universal religious community as an ethical state.
