Abstract

Na filosofia de Gilles Deleuze – a exemplo de tantas outras – épossível divisar uma parte que se mostra mais capaz de ser absorvida pelacultura da época e outra, que soa estranha e permanece difícil, quase rebeldeàs apropriações. Um dos motivos pelos quais parte de um pensamento nãoé facilmente absorvido é seu eventual caráter de inacabamento. Ficamoscom temas ou “quase-conceitos” que são indicados pelo filósofo, sem serplenamente desenvolvidos. O objetivo deste trabalho é tratar de dois dessesquase-conceitos da obra de Deleuze. Refiro-me aos temas do idiota e de umarazão insuficiente, que praticamente só ocorrem uma ou duas vezes ao longoda obra. Minha hipótese é de que, através dessas noções, é possível repensaro conjunto da filosofia deleuzeana e responder a certa idiotice que, por vezes,parece caracterizar nossa hiper-modernidade.In Gilles Deleuze’s philosophy – as in many others – it is possibleto distinguish a bulk that is more capable to be incorporated to the cultureand another, which sounds strange and remains difficult, almost rebellious toany appropriation. One of the reasons why part of a philosophy is not easilyabsorbed is its occasional unfinished condition. We end up with mere themes or“quasi-concepts”, barely indicated, but not fully developed by the philosopher.The goal of this paper is to discuss two of these “quasi-concepts” in Deleuze’sopus. I refer to the themes of the “idiot” and that of an “insufficient reason”.They occur only once or twice throughout the work. My hypothesis is that wecan – by an analysis of those themes – reconsider Deleuze’s philosophy as a whole, and also respond to a certain idiocy that sometimes seem to be typicalof our hyper-modern times
