Abstract

The most popular and even famous phrase attributed to the Danish philosopher and theologian Søren Kierkegaard is the so called "leap of faith�. It is meant to express the conviction, that knowledge cannot grasp the highest truth, but has to be superseded by radically underived religious commitment, namely the passion Kierkegaard calls faith
