The Form of Justice in Plato's Republic

Abstract

This article focuses on the hypothesis that Plato's Republic is a Metaphysical dialogue, not a political one. It is argued that this work develops an ethical dianoia by borrowing from the mathematical sciences the method of hypothesis.
