This book contains a general introduction followed by a Greek text with facing English translation, and a hundred-page commentary. Leggatt prints Moreaux’s excellent Greek text ). The main contribution of the book is the commentary, there already being good English translations in print in the Revised Oxford translation), but no readily available English commentary. is difficult to obtain and, unlike Leggatt’s book, aims at a readership that knows Greek.) In any case, Leggatt uniquely provides text, translation, and commentary in one volume.
