Abstract

India on the Tibetan Mahayana Buddhist philosophy, in addition to the concept and Consciousness, but in fact, include the amount of essential theory. Chinese Buddhist scholars both ancient and modern, are very familiar to the amount of theory, but the quantity theory is the modern Western study of Buddhist philosophy, strengths, achievements and the most extensive scale. This will be the basic problem for the framework to about $ ○项the amount of the most representative contemporary Western theory out of the project description, in particular, to facilitate students what you want. Within the philosophic traditions of Indian Mahayana Buddhism, other than Madhyamika and Yogacara-Vijnanavadin, Buddhist logic-epistemology is also a tradition that should not be ignored. Unfortunately, neither ancient nor modern Chinese Buddhism pays sufficient attention to Indian Buddhist epistemology. The study of this field, however, is one of the most fruitful areas of western academic research in Buddhism. This short essay presents the basic issues of western studies of Buddhist epistemology and a bibliography, which covers more than 150 representative books and articles
