Abstract
This issue marks the end of my first year as editor-in-chief of IJFAB. As a seasoned hand at editing—five years at the Hastings Center Report and another five at Hypatia, not to mention the Feminist Constructions series I edited with Sally Ruddick and Margaret Urban Walker—I knew the first year of a new editorial team could be mighty rocky. But it wasn't. It was fun. That, I think, was largely due to Patrick Walsh, who helped smooth the transition, and Kate Caras, who had been my partner in crime at Hypatia. And, of course, my three editorial colleagues: Jackie Leach Scully, Robyn Bluhm, and Jamie Nelson, with all of whom it has been absolutely lovely to work.Since I'm technically retired now (not that philosophers...
