Looks at ways nurses historically have demonstrated care since the writings of Florence Nightingale, and how caring modalities, now referred to as complementary therapies, have been used. Examines connections between five aspects of demonstrating care and five categories of nursing fundamentals, and their relationship with complementary therapies.
