These ethical issues include the tension between the dual roleDual role of being clinician-researcher, recruitment issues, and the translation of clinical research findings into clinical care. Other issues such as proxyProxyconsentConsent and therapeutic misconceptionTherapeutic misconception have been discussed in other chapters.
