Abstract

Quentin Lauer’s new book on Hegel is a fortunate event experienced very seldom in the not exactly sparse literature on Hegel and not at all in the literature on Hegel’s philosophy of religion. The very high standard of the entire treatment of Hegel’s work is the culmination of various essays and books of the author on other subjects in Hegel’s philosophy as well as of details in this problem area.
