Abstract

Straipsnyje aptariama antikinio pasaulio paideia’os samprata, analizuojamos jos atsiradimo prielaidos irpagrindiniai formavimosi etapai. Paideia’os iðtakas aptinkame Hipokrato, Isokrato, Platono, Aristoteliodarbuose. Jie këlë harmoningà asmenybës ugdymà, kai þmogus tampa ne tik kultûriniø vertybiø vartotoju, bet ir jø kûrëju. Svarbi vieta klasikinëje paideia’oje tenka mokymui apie sveikatos saugojimà arbagydymo menà. Pirmà kartà antikinë paideia þmogaus ugdomàjá procesà veda á saviauklà kaip aukðèiausià savo bûties suvokimà ir jos tobulinimà. Pati paideia’os sàvoka transformavosi jau antikoje, ágaudamaplatesná tikslà, gilesná turiná ir naujas technologijas.Prasminiai þodþiai: paideia, asmenybë, ugdymas, retorika, gydymo menas
