On Socratic Dialogues And The Republic I

Abstract

Since C. Kahn of the paper presents , there is no "Socratic" dialogues, the whether so-called "Socratic" Dialogues of the problem, has attracted considerable attention Plato scholar. In general, Plato's Dialogues of the standard there are three phases to do. They are 1) of the standard biography, 2) philosophical or literary standard, 3) standard form of writing. In the first part, I will do these three criteria a brief description and reasons also explain why the writing in the form of standards with progressive ideas, to prove "Socratic" Dialogues with the dialogue recorded in the mid- difference is not necessary. Secondly, if there is not enough reason to claim with confidence, the "Socratic" Dialogues existence. That stands for "Utopia. Volume I "is a lot of so-called" Socratic "Dialogues in one, it may be a misunderstanding. In the second part, I will test by "Utopia.
