Kim giffin, ph. D., is director of the communication research center and professor of speech communication and human relations at the university of kansas. He is co-author of fundamentals of interpersonal communication (1971); his articles on inter-personal trust, communication, and speech anxiety have appeared in numerous collected editions and scholarly journals [Book Review]
