Abstract

A new Italian translation of Friedrich Meinecke’s Aphorismen und Skizzen zur Geschichte gives the author the opportunity to reflect on the work of the great German historian, focusing on Meinecke’s relationship with Benedetto Croce and their meditation on the destiny and “catastrophe” of Germany
