Abstract

The paper critically assesses Nietzsche’s position on "democracy". It concludes that Nietzsche’s criticism of democracy is based on a certain concept of life, conceived as will to power , whereas the notion of democracy designates a historically established regime based on the principles of equality in rights and pitty
